We are now looking for paving workers in Östergötland 

About the position

We are looking for someone who wants to work as a Paving Worker with us at Peab Asfalt starting in the 2026 season in Östergötland, based in Linköping. 

In the role of Paving Worker, you will be part of an engaged team driven by seeing a project come to life. You will work in the field alongside your colleagues on various assignments within your area of work. Working as a paving worker means that both the workplace and working hours vary, which requires some flexibility.

Your tasks will include:

• Paving work with machinery and manually
• Compaction
• Adhesion

The asphalt season is most intense from April to December when you will work longer days. This is compensated with time off with maintained salary from Christmas until mid-March the following year.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with at least 2 years of experience in paving work.

The position of paving worker requires you to be practically inclined and have an easy time collaborating. We are looking for someone who is responsible, driven to do a good job, and is punctual. You have a good ability to plan your work and solve problems that arise.

You will work together with others in a team, and you depend on each other to succeed. You find it natural to see your work as a team effort where you care about delivering a neat and thorough job together with your colleagues. 

You should have good physical fitness as the work can be physically demanding, and you should enjoy working outdoors for most of the year.

Requirements

• Driving license B
• 2 years of experience in paving work

Meritorious

• Driving license C
• Driving license BE
• Screed operator
• Team leader responsibility
